Objective

The objective of the conference is to bring together researchers of different communities (applied mathematics, biomechanics, fluid mechanics, physics) working on fundamental problems involving coupling between a fluid and a deformable body. Contributions of work in progress or completed are welcome.

The first two editions of ‘Fluid & Elasticity’ were held in 2009 in Carry-le-Rouet, France, and in 2012 in La Jolla, California.

Schedule

The conference will be held at the Belambra hotel ‘La chambre d’amour’ near Biarritz, France. It will take place over three days (June 22-24, 2015).

It will consist of single plenary sessions with six invited lectures (40 minutes), 45 selected oral presentations (15 minutes), and about 40 short oral communication (5 minutes) followed by a poster session.

There will be ample time outside the formal sessions for participants to meet in a friendly atmosphere.
