3. Results

In this section we first investigate transition in an unforced wall jet at Reynolds numbers in the range of 2500 $\le$ Re_j $\le$ 10000. We then focus on one Reynolds number ( Re_j = 5000) and study the effects of the still and the oscillating wire.
