Ongoing projects
I work on propagation of ultrasound waves in heterogeneous anisotropic media such as concrete and bone. For several years, I have been focused on the interaction of ultrasonic waves and human bone in both diagnosis and treatment practices. Since 2008, I have been participated in ANR projects on the multimodal characterization of human growing bone. Recently, I tackled the problem of bone healing under US stimulation in order to understand the physical phenomena implied in the bone repair enhancement clinically observed.
